After more than three decades of studying and working in Europe, Mr. Bình returned to Vietnam in 2014 with a heartfelt mission: to establish Almanity Hoi An Resort & Spa as a tribute to his cherished homeland. With profound love and respect for Hoi An, he meticulously incorporated cultural and historical elements into every aspect of the resort.
Born and raised in Hanoi, Chef Hải’s culinary journey began and thrived in Ho Chi Minh City. With over 32 years of experience, he has become an icon in Vietnamese cuisine, notably serving as a judge on MasterChef Vietnam from 2013 to 2017 and MasterChef Celebrity in 2017.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the culinary industry and a background of working in five-starhotels across Vietnam, he returned to Hoi An, a place rich in culture and diverse in herbs and spices. He is fortunate to have access to fresh, natural ingredients from the local sea, rivers, and countryside.
